The Shadow Box is conceived as a simple yet thoughtful public utility that combines infrastructure with spatial experience. Anchored at either end by male and female toilet blocks, the design frames a central open space that functions as a bus stop, creating a shared zone of pause and transition. The built edges act as quiet enclosures, while the central space remains open and breathable, offering shade, comfort, and visibility for commuters. Light and shadow become key elements, shaping the character of the space throughout the day.
By integrating sanitation facilities with a waiting area, the project transforms a routine transit stop into a functional and dignified public environment, where everyday needs are addressed within a cohesive architectural form
