As a practice, we at RC Architects believe that “ Architecture as a science emerged from man’s humble need for shelter. A home is the purest form of design. However, modernized the skin, the spirit of a home is its timelessness, where architecture transcends fashion. Beyond a room with a sturdy wall, a roof, a window, and a hearth, all else is luxury”.
We design spaces that balance functionality, innovation, and context. Our work spans homes, workplaces, cultural spaces, institutions, landscape master planning, and public infrastructure, always guided by sustainability and local relevance. From concept to completion, we collaborate closely with clients, integrating a unique approach towards living patterns by fusing modern materials in a vernacular manner to create spaces that are rich in natural light and landscape.
Rohan Chavan
Founder of RC Architects
Rohan Chavan is an architect, planner, designer and educator who studied at the College of Architecture in Kolhapur. He is the founder and owner of RC Architects a multi-disciplinary design practice started in 2015, after working with Charles Correa, Christopher Benninger, and Rahul Mehrotra. He is also a visiting Faculty at Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute of Architecture, Mumbai.
His work engages with projects and issues related to public and community sanitation, urban design, affordable and low-cost housing, single-family houses, space design, and institutions. The unique approach towards living patterns and bold style are the highlights of his design practice. He loves to fuse modern materials in a vernacular pattern creating spaces that are rich in natural light and
landscape.

Shalini Prakash
Partner Architect
Shalini Prakash is an architect, with a master’s degree in landscape architecture from CEPT (2015-2017). She has worked with M/s Prabhakar B Bhagwat in the capacity of a landscape architect and as a researcher with LEAF for several years before she joined RC architects in 2021. She presently steers the master-planning and landscape design faction of the office.
Her curiosity lies in the overlaps of ecology and design and explores the same through her work. She has a keen interest in research and documentation and guides conversations about office archives and publication. Apart from design she also teaches at Rashtreeya Vidyalaya College of Architecture (RVCA).

Mohammed Abdulla Hameed
Project Architect
Mohammed Abdulla Hameed holds an undergraduate degree in Architecture and Design from CARE School of Architecture, Trichy (2019-2024). He trained at mayaPRAXIS, Bangalore, where he gained first-hand experience in how an architectural practice operates – from collaborative design processes to project management and client engagement. This exposure deepened his understanding of participatory and context-driven design.
Abdulla is a Project Architect at RC Architects, India, where he engages with community-focused and sustainable practices, striving to create meaningful spaces that balance functionality, sensitivity to context, and the well-being of users.
Adarsh Kori
Project Architect
Adarsh Kori holds an undergraduate degree in Architecture and Design from the School of Planning and Architecture, Mysore (2020–2025). He trained at Design Matters,Bangalore, where he experienced design development, visualization, and detailing with an emphasis on contextual and experiential architecture. This experience deepened his interest in exploring the intersection of culture, climate, and craft in shaping meaningful built environments.
Adarsh is a Project Architect at RC Architects, India, Approaches each project as an ongoing dialogue between people and their surroundings, striving to create spaces that respond sensitively to context and everyday experiences.
Trisha Sudeep

Trisha Sudeep holds an undergraduate degree in Architecture and Design from Wadiyar Centre for Architecture, Mysore (2019–2024).
