A contemporary house grounded in Dehradun’s layered memory — where brick, craft, and climate converge to shape a dwelling that belongs to its landscape.

Set against the wooded foothills of Dehradun, the house draws its strength from the region’s layered architectural memory. The exposed brick walls recall the timeless solidity of the Forest Research Institute, where architecture was built to endure — slow, grounded, and in dialogue with climate. Brick here is not a finish, but a structure; its texture allows the building to weather, breathe, and age with dignity.
